The Hardest Problem & Easiest Solution

The biggest problem video creatives seem to face is wanting to stand out and have a BOLD look that gets them noticed. Shooting in Log helps get you there but if you're new to color grading, it's intimidating taking it on and feeling secure in how it looks, especially if you're new. The last thing you want to do is give the impression you don't know what you're doing.

  • Did I do too much?
  • Are the skin tones right?
  • But does this look unrealistic?

You're not alone if you've secretly wondered this... Trust me,. I battled these same feelings too even though I've had over a decade of experience being a post producer and editor for some of television's highest rated shows with the strictest most rigorous color standards. Matching colors and tone across various scenes and lighting scenarios is no easy task - not to mention the enormous amount of time it takes to make sure your brand is carrying a cohesive, professional look across video projects.Over time I overcame it and figured exactly what I needed to do make sure everything looks right. But that's not enough...

You Need to be Able Create Great Content, Quicker

The Everyday LUT is my solution to save you from spending hours color grading videos and trying to achieve a uniform, professional, and natural look across projects. Over time I've figured out how to adjust my colors correctly, save them as LUTs that take me from LOG 3 footage to a BOLD aesthetic that brings CONSISTENCY to my work, page, and everything I create. This LUT allows me to do this everyday in less than a minute and now YOU CAN TOO. If you're looking for an easy & successful workflow with a LUT that gets people's attention, THIS IS THE ONE!!!

This consistent look and efficient workflow has been the aesthetic I've used to garner partnerships with online learning giants like MxU.com and brand deals with Prism Lens FX and Tropic Colour.

How This Everyday LUT Was Developed

The Everyday LUT was developed around 10-bit 422 as well as 8-bit footage, and is designed to be non-destructive to your colors / luma values. This is a creative LUT and is meant to apply a stylistic grade to your footage after proper color correction and log transformation. I've tested this LUT on LOG 3 (after rec 709 conversion) and standard profile footage from various cameras to include:

  • Sony
  • Canon
  • Black Magic
  • Red
  • DJI
  • and even iPhone cameras.

Avoid These Mistakes So Many People Make

  • Avoid ruining your footage with color banding from cheap LUTs from value packs
  • Avoid using LUTs that aren't made with adjustments specifically for LOG 3 10 Bit 422 footage
  • Avoid Exporting with codecs that ruin your footage because it's not meant for your LUT

This LUT Solves ALL of These Problems Combining Quality with Value

This isn't a cheap LUT from a value sample pack. I personally believe most of those are stolen from other creators who offer their free LUT for leads, hoping to upsell you on something later. That's not me. This has been cultivated through time, trial, errors and ultimately led me to some real success achieving the goals I have to make money as a creative using this Everyday LUT. That's why it's not free. But becuase this is the LUT is use the most out of my Cinematic LUTs Pack, I figured now is the time to sell it as a standalone.

So if you want to effortlessly achieve the same look that has allowed big brands and companies to take me seriously as a creative, allowing me to make thousands of dollars as a creative, now is the time to purchase this out before everyone catches on and catches up.

In the example below the sky gradually shifts from Orange to Deep Blue (this is a very common scenario for dawn and dusk shots.) Most LUTs ruin this gradient, creating harsh contrast between the two colors. 1UP LUTs are designed to preserve gradients, making the transition as smooth and natural as possible.

1UP LUTs not only do a great job of preserving color fidelity, they are also designed to shift unwanted tones to their ideal hues. For example, many cameras are often biased a bit green. We don’t love that look, so we’ve designed these LUTs to restore these tones to a natural state.
